Translations - Polish, Russian, English

When it comes to translation not only fluency in langauges but also familiarity with their cultural backgrounds is a requirement that cannot be ignored.

I am a native speaker of Polish, fully qualified and experienced teacher of Russian (a graduate of Gdansk University and PhD Candidate in Russian Literature at St Andrews University) and a linguist with professional preparation in translation studies. Before I moved to Scotland in 2005 I lived both in Poland and Russia. I know the languages, cultures, customs and everyday life of these three countries very well. I provide translation services in any combination of Polish, Russian and English to individuals, companies and Public Sector organizations.

I offer certified translations of documents (marriage certificates, birth certificates, insurance policies, diplomas, etc.) and translations of other texts such as correspondence (including e-mails), brochures, leaflets, websites, health and safety manuals, handbooks, articles, guides etc.

Prices for certified translations

The price for a single certified translation is usually £20. Customers who place several translations at the same time enjoy a discount on this price. Please contact me for more information.

Prices for other texts

Standard rate for texts other than documents requiring certified translation is £0.06 per word. In the case of longer texts prices are negotiable and depend on the length of the material to be translated and its character.
