Qualifications and experience
I am a professional teacher of foreign languages with MA degree in language studies with specialization in langauge teaching and translations. I graduated from Gdansk University (Poland) in 2003 with distinction and the Rector’s special award for excellence. My master’s thesis was written in Russian under the supervision of two exceptional professors: Elżbieta Biernat and Stanisław Ulaszek.
Between 2005 and 2009 I studied at St Andrews University (School of Modern Languages) writing my doctoral dissertation on Russian literature.
I have over 10 years of experience in both private and group teaching of Polish, Russian and English at all levels from complete beginners to nearly fluent learners. Listing some of the institutions and companies I worked for, I am proud to mention the prestigious language school L2 in Warsaw, St Andrews University, Edinburgh University, and RMJM Scotland (the 7th biggest architectural company in the world).
